Support the

Pinckney Community Public Library

Pinckney Community Public Library accepts monetary donations and donations of services.  Donations of books, dvd’s and videos, audio materials, and music cd’s are also accepted.

If a monetary donation is not possible, you can also support the library by volunteering or joining the Friends of the Library organization.

Why are donations important to the PCPL?

Donations help provide supplemental funding sources for collection building, new technology, building and improvement projects, and programming.  These funds do not replace public funding which support the basic library function.  The donations help fill the gaps where public funding may not be enough to cover a necessary expense.  The library relies heavily on the generosity of our patrons, whether it be through monetary donations or volunteer hours.  Please consider adding PCPL to your list of charitable contributions.

The State of Michigan provides a unique incentive so you can reduce your state income taxes and help your library as well. A partial income tax credit can be claimed for donations. Gifts are also deductible from your federal income tax. Your generous donations will help the library offer extra programs and enhance our regular resources and services.
